Conquer What Ifs: Selling Secrets Inside

Hey there,

The last few weeks in this newsletter I've been talking about holiday promotions because we need to be thinking and planning that right now.

And most importatntly preparing.

Reader, If you've missed any of the week, go ahead and search leranbusinessu in your inobox. Last week we went over the Create step of the process which is all in the preparation phase of launching a promotion of any kind.

Today's step is the scary part for many people. Sell.

Now as I had previously stated, selling means people are buying... or you want them too.

But when we are talking about selling and buying here, we are not just talking money. You might be selling them who you are. You want them to buy in to your world and what you offer. That might mean sales and it might mean they are self qualifing themselves.

And if you are not familiar with what Self Qualify means, it menas to have someone decide that they are in the right place and you are there for them. You provide them with the information that makes them say yes, yes, YES!

Now I understand that fears can play into selling.

The What Ifs start to creap in. But Let me tell you something here. If you do the previous steps. Then you have done everything in your control to have people show up for your promotion.

Now what if I told you that the fear that is trying to keep you safe doesn't live in reality? What if I told you that is your braind thinking it needs to keep you walking off of a cliff. What if I told you that you don't have to keep believing in the negative What Ifs?

Because I believe that getting yourself to take the first step to selling and just put something out there is the top of the rollercoast. Once you finish the climb, the coaster car starts rolling, it gains momentum, and that doesn't stop until you put the breaks on and make it stop.

But you have to choose to get on the coaster first.

If you need help getting over the fear, I just published a youtube video that can help you.

I know the thumbnail says you can't decide to start a business... but this applies to all the "next steps" of business that our braind is holding us back from doing.

Watch the video for practical steps to getting over the fear.

Next week we are going to wrap up this entire discussion about Holiday Promotions, and I will have a special offer for you.

Hey there Reader, Over the last few weeks we've gone through Plan, Create, and Sell together. There's one piece left, and it's the one almost nobody actually does on purpose. Celebrate. And I don't just mean throw a little party if it went well. I mean actually stop and look at your wins, and also look at what you'd tweak next time because both of those count as celebrating. Pat yourself on the back for the work itself, not just the outcome. You showed up and you got through it, and that...

Hey there Reader, If you are on my email list... and obviously you are since you are receiving this email, then you most likely have already started a business...But if you haven't or if you know someone who has been thinking about turning their hobby into something more, I want to tell you about an event coming up. The Hobby To More Summit, a completely free online event happening October 1st–4th all about taking something you love and exploring whether it could become something more. And...

Hey there, So last week I asked if the "buy" you're after is money or just a yes. No wrong answer there Reader, I just wanted you thinking about it before we go further. Because today's step assumes you already know what you're promoting and roughly what you want people to do about it. Now comes the part that actually eats the most time: making the stuff. Here's what I've noticed after doing this over and over. The thing that burns people out isn't writing one caption or one email. It's...
